History of the Two Swan Inn

The Two Swan Inn was built in 1790 and has served primarily as a private residence during its 200 year history.

For a time it served as the clubhouse of the Miles River Yacht Club.

Located on St. Michaels' historic waterfront, the Inn is a short walk from the harbor restaurants, the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, and two blocks from the town shops.

The antique furnishings and original longleaf yellow pine floors enhance the warmth and ambience of the interior.

During the summer your breakfast is served on the lawn under the canopy of shade trees, and in the winter months you'll enjoy a Continental Breakfast by a crackling fire in the living room.

The Inn is open year round. Our guests enjoy Maryland's Eastern Shore seasonal pleasures, such as boating, hunting, bicycling, golfing, shopping or just relaxing.
